Day by Day Itinerary
Day 01: Delhi Arrival
Welcome: - On arrival at Delhi get grand welcome by Trojan Holiday’s representative and drive to hotel. Spend the day at leisure, shopping, and local sightseeing. Later, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and come back to hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi to Agra (By Train) and Sightseeing at Agra
Transfer to Railway station: - Trojan Holidays representative will assist you early morning, to New Delhi Railway Station for boarding the superfast ‘Shatabdi Express’ train to Agra.
The breakfast for the morning will be served in the train. Approximately two hours train journey will lead you to Agra; and get transferred to hotel for taking rest (on the way get introduced to your tour guide).
Agra Fort: - Agra For was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1566 at banks of River Yamuna. The red sand stone fort was the capital of Mughal Emperor before shifting to Delhi Red Fort. The prime features to see are “Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Aam, and the gem studded peacock throne.”
Taj Mahal: - Later, capture the one of seven wonder and UNESCO World Heritage Sites since the year 1982 beloved as Taj Mahal. The temple dedicated to eternal love is positioned in the bank of River Yamuna was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century. The monument built in the memoir of Mumtaz with the help of 20000 labor force took 20 years to complete.
Later, go for shopping; spend the time selecting marble or handicrafts. Come back to hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri
Fatehpur Sikri: - Early morning visit Taj Mahal, for capturing the colorful mood of Taj Mahal as the rising sun rays reflecting the white marble and gems create a magic of itself. Best time to capture the temple of love on lens.
After lunch, drive to Fatehpur Sikri and en-route visit the mausoleum of Mughal Emperor Akbar beloved as ‘Sikandra’. The ghost city another name to former capital of Mughal Emperor the ‘Fatehpur Sikri was abandoned due to scarcity of water; and was built by Akbar in tribute to Sufi Saint Salim Chisti.
Afterwards, drive to Jaipur the fabled city of forts and palaces. On arrival at Jaipur, check into your hotel and relax for overnight.
Day 04: Jaipur Attractions
Jaipur attractions: - On the 4th day, enjoy breakfast and visit Amber Fort the former Rajput capital. The star attractions are elephant ride to reach the top of fort situated at the hill, its artillery museum, temples, canon, Ganesha idol, and Durga Temple.
Next visit City Palace, still the royal residence of Royal Rajput clan, but one of its parts has been transformed into museum of arts, antiques, artillery, and royal relics. Later, visit Hawa Mahal also known as the palaces of winds. It was built for royal ladies to view the outer world without getting noticed from strangers. The windows screen are encrusted with carved balconies; a fascinating architectural wonder to witness.
Lastly, visit Jai Singh’s observatory only one of world observatories where time has been exactly assessed since the 17th century.
Day 05: Jaipur - Delhi
Delhi Sightseeing: - On the 5th day reach Delhi early morning and go for Delhi sightseeing. The attractions to watch in Delhi are “Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Jama Maszid Chandni Chowk, Humayun Tomb, India Gate, Qutub Minar, Parliament, President House, Lotus Temple, etc.
Come back to hotel and get transferred to airport for boarding the flight to go back home.
