Rams is a breath of fresh air coming from the north of Montenegro, a travel agency established in 2005 in Bijelo Polje, a family business managed by Musa and Sabina Ramovic. Nowadays, the agency employees five staff on a full-time basis and a large number of seasonal employees many of whom are completing their professional competence training. Their business has been flourishing so far, while adjusting to the current tourism development trends in Montenegro. - See more at:
Our aim is to develop region where we live and work, to make a better conditions for life, but in closer cooperation with local population, communities, Government and NGO-s. As a pioneer in this field from the beginning we respect principles of sustainable and responsible development.
Travel Agency Rams have managed, in a substantial degree, to arise a conscience of a local population about the importance of inclusion in the development of tourism. That is seen through direct contact of tourists with local people, where the tourists have the opportunity to buy local products and to influence on rising of the life standard for local people. As a family company, we act in the direction of improvement of conditions for life of young people, creating a better opportunities for them through this work.
ITINERARY
1. day- meeting with the guide , transfer to hotel, dinner. Overnight.
Description: hotel is located in the center of capital town of Podgorica.
2. day– Hiking tour to canyon of river Mrtvica
Description: Transfer from Podgorica to staring place for hiking takes about 45 min. Tour is easy level, with attractions ,,Mrtvicke grede’’, ,,Gate of wishes’’, Old bridge built by king Nikola. Hotel is located in Kolasin. Dinner and overnight.
3. day-Hiking to Komovi mountain
Description: After breakfast transfer to Tresnjevik, start point of hiking to Vasojevicki Kom. Durration of tour is cca 5h on both way, the level of difficult id moderate to difficult. Lunch in nature. At the afternoon transfer to area of Prokletije. Accommodation, dinner and overnight.
4. day- Hridsko Lake
Description: After breakfast start hiking to the Hridsko lake. The lake is located on 1980m of altitude and it is souraunding by forest and stones. The trail is not difficult, and it goes through forest, and medows. Durration of tour is cca 5h. Lunch is in nature. At the afternoon transfer to Rozaje to mountain Hajla. Hajla is situated near town Rozaje at the Border of Montenegro and Kosovo and the highest peak is at altitude 2403m. Overnight is in mountain hut, which was built in 2009, has daily room, 2 bedrooms (one for male and one for female) and WC. Dinner and overnight.
5. day-Hajla peak 2403m
Description: We start to hike after breakfast and need about 2 h to the peak. From peak you can see Kosovo, mountain Prokletije, Bjelasica, Komovi. Returning to the hut for a lunch. After lunch leaving the hut and hiking to the place where the bus waits for us. Transfer to Bijelo Polje. Accommodation, dinner and overnight.
6. day- hiking Bjelasica
Description: Transfer from Bijelo Polje to Ravna Rijeka by bus and continue transfer by pincgauer (army's vehicle). Hiking through mountain Bjelasica, visiting local people who live there during summer in catuns (authentic local cottages). At the afternoon return to Bijelo Polje. Dinner and overnight.
7. day- hiking through village Bistrica
Description: After breakfast transfer to the village Bistrica – app 15min. Hiking to the monastery (app 6km) and by the way visit to a household where the owners are still producing rakija in traditional way. Rakija in this region is made of plums, apples and peaches. Lunch is planned to be in the form of picnic – beside the monastery. After the lunch, descending to the canyon and carrying forward with hiking to our starting point. Hiking without stops is app 4 hours. Level of difficulty is medium. After we return to village we will make short coffee break in the local tavern. Visit to a household for wool production – they pos-sess over 100 years old machine for processing of the wool which once worked on the water power. Return to Bijelo Polje. Dinner and Overnight.
8.day- departure-transfer to airport
