Everest base camp trek is to touch the South face base camp of Mount Everest which is laying on Mahalangur Himalayan range in Nepal also bordering with Tibet (China). To achieve the goal to south EBC, should begin hike from Lukla/Salleri/Jiri. The moderate grading trail upon lead steeply up and abruptly down throughout the villages and blooming forest.
The Everest base camp route lower than Namche Bazaar is a mostly lush and green valley where more chance to encounter the impressive waterfall, wild flourished, the cultural excursion of Sherpa, and colorful birds. Also, your meals are organic and using gardening vegetable.
Beyond the Namche Bazaar is commonly mountainous, Sherpa has seasonal farming and engaged on mountaineering, trekking professional than farming. Everest Base Camp Trek Itinerary
Day 01: From Kathmandu fly to Lukla then 4 hours trek to Phakding (2,670 m/8,757 ft)
Drive to Kathmandu domestic airport on your flight schedule. Then a 35-minute journey on small plane offers the closest view of several mountain vistas and picturesque landscapes of countryside and Sherpa villages.
The officially EBC trek will begins after your flight land at shortest Lukla airstrip. Your first day of trek starts from Lukla with escort by Musical Adventure Trekking staffs. Distance of first day trek is 7 km and it takes 4 hours, the Everest trail often goes up and down in the mountain village and flattering with awe-wing landscapes and some snow-capped peaks. We will trek through beautiful Sherpa villages and crossing suspension bridges with expose of colorful Sherpa culture. Meals: (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner with cup of drink)

Day 02: Trek from Phakding to Namche (3,450 m/11,316 ft and 6/7 hours)
Second day of Everest trek heading to Namche and ascending 700 m, it takes 6/7 hours to complete 12 km. Mostly climbing up often walking in the forest and visiting Sherpa village, waterfall, suspension bridge are the attraction of the trek. Delicious lunch will recharge your energy then crossing tallest suspension bridge before heading sturdy-up. Uphill trail continuous in the forest with get first sight of Mt. Everest. Namche, a largest commercial town in Khumbu with supplies goods to upper village, probably 100 accommodations available according to traveler’s budget from home-stay, basic, standard to luxury.

Day 03: Day Hike to Khumjung & Kunde village
Today is first acclimatization day on your Himalayan adventure, we will not make your day tough but Memorial Day trip on your journey with exploring nearby Sherpa terrain with colorful Sherpa culture. After breakfast, we begins trek from Namche with uphill all the way to Syangboche airstrip, adventurous people often take-off from here for Everest sky diving, we keep climbing on ridge to hotel Everest view From here you will see uncountable high mountains around you with deep valley, you probably make best photo of day. Till here we gain nearly 400 meters more than Namche in 2.5 km distance. Now descend to twin Sherpa village Khumjung and Khunde. Both village presents unique Sherpa culture, where you can visit first school of Hillary foundation with statue of Hillary, colorful Sherpa monastery and can see skull of YETI after paying some donation. The village seated on base of holy mountain Khumbila and get awesome view of Ama Dablam, khantega and Thamerkuk on in front of village. We have delicious lunch in one of this village with organic vegetable then trek resume on main trail along with yak farm and breading center. Today we probably did 6-7 hrs km trek in round trip with breathtaking view of Mount Everest.

Day 04: Trek from Namche to Tengboche (3,840 m/12,595 ft & 5/6 hours)
We will begins our trek after delicious breakfast with hot drink at guesthouse, you will have short ascend to junction of Everest base camp trail and Syangboche airstrip. Now we follow gentle trail with looking superb view of Himalayas like Ama Dablam, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Taboche, Thamserku, kangtega to Sanasa. Now trail drops down all the way to bank of Dudh Koshi River and have a lunch at one of nice local restaurant before onward uphill. The switch-back up will go into rhododendron forest to Tengboche monastery. The trail will be very colorful in April/March/May because of blossoming of rhododendron. Tengboche monastery is Largest Buddhist monastery in Solu Khumbu with carrying more than 200 years history. The some part of monastery was destroyed by devastating earthquake in 1934 and 2015 but repaired it with original look. Our guide will take you in monastery according to ceremony times where monks often blessed you for succeed your ultimate adventure to Kala Patthar and EBC. In a 6hrs trekking, you will ascend 400 meters and distance of 10 km.

Day 05: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,440 m/14,563 Ft & 6 hours)
A short descend through the rhododendron forest brings us nunnery monastery at Diboche and follow yak trail to over wild Imja River. Then brief climb up to lower Pangboche popular for potatoes fertilize farm and mountain climber home. There is small monastery at a middle of a village which resident of Ringpuche, a reincarnation monk. Hike towards to Dingboche pass Samare, Orso village and finally arrive Dingboche. It might’s take 5-6hrs to Dingboche with ascending 600 meters and length of 10 km, it seems lot compare to other days but the trail is pretty easy without steep-climb up.

Day 06: Acclimatization Day and climb to Dingboche Viewpoint
This is another acclimatization day of Everest base camp journey, probably walk 4-5 hrs which cover 4km as well. One more extra night at height of 4,440 mtrs, can climb high and sleep low which makes better respiration while trek further up to Everest base camp. The strenuous trail ascend up from Dingboche village on the ridge of yak pasture, will take you at Dingboche Viewpoint at height of 5050 m. It might quite tough to reach to summits of peak because of windy and altitude but worth to climb as high as you can do. As you climb higher the dramatically view of valley and mountains will be spectacular including best view of Mount Makalu, Ama Dablam, Barutse, Taboche, Island peak, Cholatse and Lobuche east

Day 07: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,910 m/16,104 Ft & 5/6 hours)
Today we are heading to Lobuche at height of 4,910 mtrs and nearly 500 mtrs climbing in single day, we need 5-6hrs trekking duration to complete length of 10 km approximately. Our on forth trek to Lobuche is ascending with gradually to challenging uphill. Two tea shop is available before strenuous climb up where can make lunch break then steady climb up to ridge called memorial of Everest summiteers. After here your adventure continuous to Lobuche on craggy alpine with looking view of Mt. Everest, Pumori, Nuptse, Khumbutse.

Day 08: Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5,180 m/16,990 ft) and side trip to EBC (5,364 m/17,563 ft)
Most adventurous and exciting day of trek with rewarding view of Khumbu glacier, step in famed base camp of the world and surrounding high mountains. Relatively easy trek for an hour’s then short uphill will bring on craggy paved trail, it lead all the way to Gorakshep, with looking trekker’s descending and ascending to Kalapatthar viewpoint. We have lunch first at Gorakshep then subsequent level trail of Everest base camp and traverse on craggy, rocky, paved, on literally Khumbu glacier which makes harder to trek on. We often hike on black ice before reach to Everest base camp, Base camp presents renowned Khumbu glacier with blue ice rolling on slopes of Khumbu ice falls. You will celebrate your succeed at base camp with taking photos, In spring you can sights climber in tented camp, waiting favorable weather to go summits of Everest. Kindly inform you Mount Everest is not visible from Everest base camp, south col and front part of block crest of Everest. After taking photos of breathtaking beauty turn back to Gorakshep. You probably need 8-9hrs to do LOBUCHE-GORAKHEP-EBC-GORAKSHEP distance probably 12 km. If possible should try to climb Kala patthar in evening to see fiery glorious sunset over Mt. Everest, it will be great achievement in life.

Day 09: Trek from Gorakshep to Pheriche (4,370 m/14,333 ft via Kala Patthar (5,550 m/18,204 ft)
Should well-prepared trek to Kalapatthar against the freezing cold in dark morning. Please remember you will not see burning sunrise over Mount Everest. The Everest is standing north east of Kalapatthar and sun rising up just right above the peak that is no chance to see sunrise on Mt. Everest. Kalapatthar is approximately 1.5 km far from guesthouse and 370 m above the Gorakshep, it might takes around 2 hours climbing up on craggy and rocky trail. The spectacular view of Himalayas including Changtse, Khumbutse, South cole, Lo la, Everest, Nutptse, Ama Dablem, Kantega, Thamerkuk, Cholatse, Tabuche with massive Khumbu ice fall and glacier, these views of breathtaking beauty make your morning rewarding and best in entire trekking days. A short drop to guesthouse with loads of happiness and then after breakfast trek retrace descend on glacier to Lobuche, Dungla and then Pheriche. We probably descend 14 km from Gorakshep to Pheriche in 5/6 hours trek.

Day 10: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar 6/7 hours
Leaving from guesthouse after breakfast, we descend from Pheriche and gentle up to beautiful ridge of sloppy up. Short drop to meet trail junction of Dingboche then same way back as we walked up few days ago. If anybody willing to see oldest monastery of Khumbu at upper-Pangbocche, can go and visit then meet up with groups at Tengboche on lunch break. After descend to Phungi Tanga ad ascend to Namche. Today we probably walking 6-7hrs and length of 21 km.

Day 11: Namche to Lukla (2,670 m/8,757 Ft & 6-7 hrs trek)
Today is last day to see the view of most of Khumbu Himalayas before crossing the Thamdanda, should look back Mt. Everest once again and bye bye. Then trek continuous descending with crossing suspension bridge and pass village Jorsalle, Phakding, Ghat, Chhuplung then finally reach Lukla. It will takes nearly 6-7 hrs to walk with covering 20 km distance. Today is finally celebration with your crew, they are staying back at Lukla and waiting for next groups for the next adventure.

Day 12: From Lukla fly back to Kathmandu
A 35-minute mountain flight will present the maximum view of Himalayas and landscapes of Nepal. You will go to the airport with your guide according to your flight schedule.
