What You Can Expect
Experience a camel trek in the Erg Chebbi sand dunes Travel along the Tizi-n-Tichka pass through the High Atlas Mountains to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou, and discover a traditional way of life deep in the deserts of Erg Chebbi. Please note: In the desert camps, a private tent with a bed is guaranteed and there are Western-standard bathroom facilities (hot shower). After the camel rides on day 2 and 3 you will have the opportunity to take a shower and freshen up at a private room in a local hotel.
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades valley
Amazing 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga dunes, crossing kasbahs, valleys & atlas mountains. Following a morning pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech, head out of the city in your air-conditioned minivan through the fertile Haouz Plains toward the High Atlas Mountains. Visit of rural Berber villages and take the high Tizi-n-Tichka pass through the mountains. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou, where locals have traded and socialized for thousands of years. Enjoy free time to visit the site and soak up a little of the atmosphere, then head onward to Ouarzazate for lunch. After having lunch, you will visit Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses. You will cross Berber villages of El Kelaa M’Gouna and Boumalene where you will spend the night.
Day 2: Dades Valley- Merzouga via Todra Gorge
Following an early stroll to admire the authentic breakfast. Meet your driver for the onward journey through the Anti-Atlas Mountains and the lunar landscape towards the town of Alnif. Continue to head Merzouga through the Berber village of Tinghir and the Todra Gorge — a small village on the edge of the mighty Sahara Desert. You will cross several Berber villages, then a break for lunch at either Tinjdad or Rissani. Meet your camel caravan and, as the golden sun begins its slow descent over the dunes, set off toward Erg Chebbi, continue to Merzouga and join the Berber camps in the middle of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, the highest in North Africa. Experience the camel trek where your secluded camp in the heart of the desert awaits. With the rhythms of traditional tamtam drumming from local nomads to entertain you, enjoy dinner and an evening under the stars before retiring to bed. Overnight: Campsite in the Sahara Desert Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner.

Day 3: Merzouga – Alnif – Daraa valley – Ouarzazate
Perhaps make the most of your time in the desert with an early-morning walk over the dunes to enjoy the sunrise. After having breakfast, ride your camel back to Merzouga and meet your driver. There, hop back aboard your minibus and head to Ouarzazate through Alnif, Tazzarine, Nkob, and the Draa Valley. Overnight: Hotel in Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
After breakfast, your journey will take you through the picturesque Valley of Roses to the oasis of Skoura, one of the largest in Morocco, and on to Ouarzazate. After lunch in Ouarzazate, head onward crossing the High Atlas Mountains to your accommodation in Marrakech including 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga dunes camp & atlas mountains will come to an end.
