Mount Huang, also known as Huangshan ( 黄山; Yellow Mountain), is a mountain range in southern Anhui province in eastern China.
The area is well known for its scenery, sunsets, peculiarly-shaped granite peaks, Huangshan Pine trees, and views of the clouds from above.
Mount Huang is a frequent subject of traditional Chinese paintings and literature, as well as modern photography.
Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of China's major tourist destinations.
Mount Huang is a common tourist destination in China,with at least 140 sections open to visitors.
Throughout the area there are hotels and guest houses that accommodate overnight visitors, many of whom hike up the mountains, spend the night at one of the peaks to view the sunrise, and then descend by a different route the next day.
Day 1: Arrive in Huangshan City (downtown Tunxi) before 14:00 and then transfer to car ride (90KM/1.5 hours) to Mt.Huangshan. Hike and sight-see over Begin-to-believe Peak, Lion Peak and West-sea Grand Canyon. Stay at a 4-star hotel in peak area.
Day 2: Weather permitting,watch the sunrise. Go on hiking and sight-seeing along Fly-over Rock, tBright Summit, Giant-fish Peak, Lotus Peak, Guest-greeting Pine, Heavenly CapitalPeak, etc. Stay at a 4-star hotel in hot-spring area of Mt.Huangshan or travel back to the downtown Tunxi and visit the old street in the evening and taste the amazing Hui cuisine and stay in 4-star hotel in Tunxi.
Day 3: Go to Yixian County to visit the ancient villages and residences, Hongcun. Come back to Tunxi to visit Ink-stick Workshop and CityMuseum before departure.
