The 31 bed centre boasts of excellent quality budget accommodation. All rooms are en-suite with a mixture of private and shared rooms. The Mourne Lodge facilities include a comfortable lounge with a wood burning stove, a 52” TV and DVD with a selection of DVD’s and travel books, a modern fully equipped self catering kitchen, a drying room, an outdoor picnic/barbeque area, secure car parking, laundry facilities (at an extra cost), bike storage, free Wi-Fi, conference suite, and an onsite restaurant. The Restaurant offers good quality, affordable meals offering only fresh produce and catering for a variety of dietary needs (Especially Vegetarians and special diets). It is managed by a local Home – Economics Teacher who has also spent some time in Ballymaloe Cookery School in Cork – run by Darinna Allen. Many of her recipes are on the menu at the centre.
