For the lovers of the sea, in the Marina of Albufeira or Vilamoura, daily recreation boats can take you to sail and to discover the beautiful Algarvian coast. A very pleasant trip is the cave tour in small boats, where you see the cliffs and rock formations as well as the small beaches surrounded by the rocky cliffs. Another interesting way to visit the Algarve inland, is by Jeep. Some tour companies organize these adventure trips for all type of people and tastes. It is easy to find information concerning these excursions at the reception or in several other places in Albufeira. The buses or Jeeps will pick you up at reception. The resort is located close to Guia. There you can find the famous “Zoomarine”. This amusement park presents several daily shows with dolphins, lions, birds, parrots, etc. You can also enjoy the large swimming pools and some carousels. At zoomarine it is possible to interact with dolphins and to swim with them. Beyond the amusement, this park also has a rehabilitation center that takes and treats lost marine animals, wounded or sick. The famous water slides provide days of much animation and joy to its visitors. The most known are the Aquashow in Quarteira, Aqualand in Alcantarilha and the Slide & Splash in Lagoa. On the way to Silves, you find the Krazy World, where you will enjoy a great mini-golf and swimming pools, or visit the zoological garden with many animal species. Its also possible to visit endangered species at the Ómega Park in Monchique. The Zoo of Lagos in Bensafrim its also a beautiful and pleasant space where you may visit the animals. For strong emotions, you can speed up in the Karting de Almancil. There are several golf courses nearby, the nearest is about 3 km away. Opened in 2002, Quinta Pedra dos Bicos is located in a Urbanization in Santa Eulalia in Albufeira and has several apartment blocks with gardens and swimming pools.
