De Langenhof Guest House is in the little village of Riebeek West, nestled below the Kasteelberg Mountain. It is in the country, less than an hours drive from Cape Town, and 4 km away from the neighbouring village of Riebeek Kasteel, in the picturesque Riebeek Valley.

This elegant country accommodation is set in a mature garden with restful water features and ample space for quiet reflection. Enjoy a seat in one of the 5 gardens: the formal Rose garden, Mediterranean, Aloe, Kirstenbosch and/or the Herb and Vegetable garden. Relax at the large pool and quaint pool house in summer, and in the comfortable lounge by the fireplace in winter. De Langenhof is in walking distance of all the shops in Riebeek West, as well as a few eating places. Secure off-street parking is provided.

Sleeping:
The two luxury garden rooms, swathed in soft creams and pinks with decadent double shower, Victorian bath and rose-patterned curtains open onto a semi-private verandah overlooking the koi (comet goldfish) pond and the formal rose garden.
The four double verandah rooms, with earthy beige and olive walls and ‘distressed’ country furniture, have their own access to the verandah overlooking the Mediterranean garden.
All six en-suite rooms are fitted with quality linen, air-conditioning & heating, satellite TV & DVD players.

Dining:
Enjoy breakfast on the veranda overlooking the Mediterranean garden, cooked for you by your host, Michael, and served by his co-host, Gail. Breakfast is included in the tariff and consists of fruit juices, fruits, cereals and yoghurts, followed by a cooked breakfast, with toast and a variety of jams, teas and coffee. Complimentary teas and coffee are available all day.

Sampling one or more of the many restaurants in the area; your hosts, Gail and Mike, can advise you of the various options. Various olive products, wines and port may also be sampled in the villages.

Game drives can be arranged at a nearby game farm. Various options are available, for example, game drive combined with brunch, lunch, high tea or dinner.
